The 5 Circles of Discipleship
At United Church, we believe every disciple of Jesus grows through five interconnected circles. These form a lifestyle of prayer, people, purpose, presence, and proclamation because eternity matters.
1. Personal Devotional Life – Know God Personally
We pursue a daily, personal relationship with God through prayer, worship, and reading His Word.
Scripture: “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine…” John 15:4–5
2. Discipleship Groups – Grow in God Together
We commit to intentional relationships where we learn, confess, pray, and grow to become more like Jesus.
Scripture: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19–20
3. Ministry Serve Teams – Use Your Gifts to Build the Church
We discover our spiritual gifts and serve the body of Christ with excellence, love, and joy.
Scripture: “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10
4. Sunday Worship Gatherings – Host God’s Presence Together
We gather weekly to worship God, hear His Word, and encounter His presence as a unified spiritual family.
Scripture: “And day by day... attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes... And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” Acts 2:46–47
5. Evangelism & Global Missions – Reach God’s People
We boldly share the gospel and live on mission, locally and globally because eternity matters.
Scripture: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses… to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8
